The Chalet at Hallin Bank - Additional Lake District Holiday Accommodation for 2 people
The Chalet is a one room studio/summerhouse in the field above Hallin Bank. Timber-built but insulated and double-glazed, with an oak-boarded floor, during the summer months it makes attractive extra space for children or a romantic hideaway for a couple. It is furnished with table, chairs and twin beds that can be zipped together to make a 6’ double bed. It is supplied with electricity and has a fridge and simple cooking facilities, but no plumbing. For a toilet and wash-basin you need to come down to the outhouse at the main buildings or use the bathroom in The Fold; similarly, water for drinking and cooking must be carried up.
The Chalet is available to rent for £80 per week as an extra if you are already renting The Fold.
